Cookie Policy

Essential cookie
This website sets one cookie of its own:
- Name:
reownit_session - Purpose: keep a secure session so contact and newsletter forms can use a CSRF token, rate limiting can be tied to the visit, and a success or error message can be shown after you submit.
- Duration: until you close the browser.
- Access: HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, and Secure when the site is served over HTTPS. Script on the page cannot read it.
That cookie is strictly necessary for the forms.
Analytics cookies
Every page loads Google Analytics 4 from www.googletagmanager.com. That script sets these first-party cookies:
- Name:
_ga - Purpose: distinguish browsers so Google Analytics can count visits.
- Duration: up to two years.
- Name: a cookie that starts with
_ga_ - Purpose: keep session state for the same measurement.
- Duration: up to two years.
These cookies are not essential. The site does not ask for permission before they are stored, and it does not show a cookie banner. They are not advertising cookies. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.
What we do not use
There is no advertising network, no social plug-in that tracks reading, and no heat-mapping tool. Fonts and photographs are stored with the site, so loading a page does not call a font or image host.
How to refuse cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you block reownit_session, the pages still load, but the forms may reject a submission or fail to show a confirmation. Blocking _ga and cookies whose names start with _ga_ stops this site from storing the analytics identifiers. Google also offers an opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The page still requests the analytics script unless that add-on or another blocker stops it.
